Using a new Filter Cartridge
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap before opening the filter package provided. Remove the unused Filter Cartridge (PowerPac PP1588) and soak the Filter Cartridge upright in a clean bowl containing clean, room-temperature water for 10 minutes. Discard the water. Rinse the Filter Cartridge under running water for 10 seconds. Repeat the process two more times. It is normal for carbon and resin dust to appear. Thereafter, the Filter Cartridge is ready to be inserted into the Water Tank.
1. Remove the Water Tank out of the appliance vertically.
2. Clean the exterior of the appliance and the removable accessories (Water Tank, Water Tank Cover, Drip Tray) with a solution of liquid detergent and water with a non-abrasive sponge. DO NOT use abrasive scouring pads or powders. The appliance should NOT be cleaned with a steam cleaner. Never immerse the appliance’s Body in water or other liquids.
3. Rinse the accessories thoroughly under running water and dry with a soft, dry cloth. DO NOT place the appliance or accessories under direct sunlight for drying.
4. Place the appliance’s Body on a dry, horizontal, stable and heat-resistant surface.
5. Insert the Water Tank into the appliance vertically. Place the Filter Cartridge into position inside the Water Tank. Thereafter, fill the Water Tank with clean water at room temperature up to the MAX line. DO NOT fill the Water tank with hot water. Close the Water Tank Cover.
6. Plug one end of the power cable into the Base Socket and the plug into the wall socket. Switch the wall switch ON. The appliance enters Lock mode.
